Positive: Very helpful staff, very clean, and they had good coffee.

Negative: The bed mattresses were not comfortable in king or queen rooms. I changed rooms after 3 nights, and moved to a different hotel after the 4th night for the rest of my stay in Dayton. The patrons of this hotel were also very noisy, perhaps due to the downtown location.

Summary: Will not stay here again. And I’m a Marriot member.

Positive: The hotel was convenient to the wedding venue we had come for.

Negative: Check staff couldn't get my reservation right. I booked through booking.com and prepaid but the charged my card 1480.00 and said they were just putting a deposit on the card. Than my booking came with breakfast included and everymorning we had to have a discussion to make that right as well. They kept blaming Booking.com. We had a corner suite however the room was kind of minimalist as well there is a bar called PINS right out side the window that played loud music until late in the evening and it started around 11 in the morning.

Positive: The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient if you want to walk to the Oregon Distric, and Pins Mechanical and Day Air Ballpark are right next door. The valet attendants were always quick. The gym had everything you'd expect at a hotel. The rooms were very clean and had lots of amenities you don't get everywhere, like blow dryers, a sound machine, and makeup remover wipes.

Negative: This hotel doesn't have a pool or hot tub. The room didn't have a microwave. The pillow options weren't great for me, personally. There were solid pillows that were too thick for my neck (being fairly short), and thinner pillows that went completely flat. The breakfast hours weren't posted anywhere in the room. Not a major problem, but would have been helpful. We did call down for the valet once (per their suggestion), but the car wasn't ready when we got downstairs. But they ran to get it very quickly once we got to the stand. So just a minor inconvenience. I would say the price is a bit much for pretty standard hotel rooms. You're paying for the location, essentially.
